  Simple common sense.

  If an all-knowing God exists,,,than that means that secrets and privicy does not.

  If an all knowing God does not exist..than secrets and privicy does really exist.

  Both cannot exist...it is either one or the other.

  Thats right. Privicy and secrets exist until an all knowing being is proven to exist.

  Both cannot exist. Only one can exist.

  Why do you say no?

  If you proved that an all knowing God is real..you at the same time prove that there is no such thing as privicy or secrets as well.

  That would be instant terror to those who have successfully hidden their crimes and intentions.

  Would you agree that this is true?

  -this is a hypothetical "for the sake of argument"-topic, where we take for granted that the biblical story of adam and eve (as it is presented in the bible we have available today) is literally true.

  i think it can be an interesting exercise.. now - let's for this discussion say god did not plant any 'special' tree in the garden of eden.

  Way I see it, if God destroys us...he must be bloodthristy, as we are doing a fine job killing ourselves.

  The snake (God's own creation) brought doubt where there was none.

  Imagine being led and instructed by someone you have NO reason to doubt that everything they say, and tell you is the absolute truth and in your best interest..

  Would you disobey them for no reason?

  Why place innocent, ignorant humans in a position or test like this?

  Do not put your God to the test? Yet God puts humans to the test??

  Humans must prove themselves, yet God does not?

  However if God proved himself real by some means, it would be instant terror for preachers and politicians alike, as they would instantly know they will be responsible for the things they did while assuming God did not exist.

  Unless some sort of forgiveness calmed their fear.

  Lets be fair.

  God didn't demand absolute obedience. There just were no other options to what God said. There was NO opposer to his commands until Satan..no doubt at all.

  Satan created the doubt, and opened up the possiblity that God was wrong or purposely hiding information or knowledge to stay on top and in command.

  Satan is screwed if he is placed on this earth as a lowly human citizen with no rank or power. Or the powers that be are, if he attacks them and their credibility in the same manner. They will never survive an attack on their actions and intentions.

  If Satan can threaten and shake God's power with success (Possibly with God's permision)....just think what he could do to this world and it's leaders with what he knows?

  after several years 'out' i can't be the only one who still gets a bit pissed off to hear 'oh so clever' apostates slagging off jw's for being dumb, stupid and worse.

  grow up!

  the beliefs of jehovah's witnesses are certainly stupid but then i'd say the same for all christian belief just as many of you might condemn my atheistic, evolutionary postion as being nonsense.

  By them claiming to have all the answers, they rob others of trying different methods, until they find something that works, to solve their problems on their own.

  To try to, would be deviating from the truth.

  The answers must come from the WTBTS...not from a simple person.

  Perhaps it is just a trap. Get everyone to agree that Satan is to blame, base everything they know and claim to know as that being the truth, then flip the script..and vindicate and reward him.

  Make everyone look silly, and PROVE that to everyone that they really do not know the difference between good and bad.

  Although it is true that humans had absolute faith in God and total obedience, until they ate from the tree, and have had doubt ever since.
